BSPR Lecturer 2025-26 | Prof. Matthias Trost

We are delighted to announce Prof. Matthias Trost, of Newcastle University, as our 2025 BSPR Lecturer.

Matthias’ work involves developing and establishing proteomics techniques as well as MALDI-ToF technology in the context of chain specificity and activity of deubiquitinases. Matthias leverages these advancements to probe phagosome biology.

As the BSPR lecturer you can invite Matthias to come give a talk in your institute at no extra cost to your department. Learn about phagosome biology and proteomics updates by getting in touch with Matthias.
